05.03.2025Alice Hertzog is our future director

The museum’s future director has been announced: Alice Hertzog, currently responsible for provenance research in our team and co-curator of the exhibition  Benin Dues, will step into the role. Previously, she was a project researcher at the Benin Initiative Switzerland and a lecturer at ETH Zurich. Alice Hertzog will head up our museum as assistant professor with tenure track in Social and Cultural Anthropology at ISEK. She will assume her new position on August 1, 2025.

We are thrilled about her appointment and warmly congratulate our colleague! A more detailed introduction to our future director and her academic background will follow soon.
