"This House Has Moved Me" and "Asog"
Events in April 2026
Dear friends, colleagues and interested parties,
As part of the "Rumble in the Archive" project, the following events will take place in April:
On 15 April, architect and resident Salim Umar will read from his work-in-process "Epizentrum 1: This House Has Moved Me". Written from the perspective of a tiled stove, it explores questions of belonging, access and placement in the city. He then will discuss with Semaya Mehret, graphic designer and curator, how Afropean architecture might take form.
On 16 April, the film series "Rumble Residents Select" continues with "Asog" (Seán Devlin, 2023), selected and presented by Stephanie Willi from studiyo filipino. On this partly documentary, partly fictional road trip to a drag competition, the protagonists encounter people affected by a typhoon.
A dialogue-based tour with two Rumble participants takes place on the last Thursday of every month, next time on 30 April.
Please find more information on the event page.
We look forward to welcoming you!
